Happy Memorial Day! I got up today at 7:15 to go march in a parade. Joyous. And since my section decided to not have a party, as we were going to, my friend and I decided to hang out. We went bike riding around our neighborhoods, and we came across an enormous open field, which contained lots of pretty weeds (since when do they make kinds other than the ugly prickly ones?!) and among the weeds we found cattails. Which we were both incredibly amused by.
